Leena is a UK artist, a pacifist, a vegan (on political and humanitarian grounds) and an advocate for animal and human rights. She is against laboratory testing on animals as it’s cruel, inhumane and selfish. Leena has lived and worked in London, Tokyo, Chengdu, China and New York.

Leena studied at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) whilst at school and later studied at The Clore Management School, Birkbeck College, The University of London and Central Saint Martins School of Art.

In 1998 before her expedition to Tibet, Leena was invited by a member of the Chinese Communist Party to work as a lecturer at Sichuan University in Chengdu, China teaching postgraduate students. This was one of the most fascinating cultural experiences of her life. In 2006 she worked at Westminister University as an adjunct lecturer teaching The Principals of Marketing. From 2007 - 2009 she launched a not-for-profit gallery loft space in New York, providing emerging artists a platform for exhibiting their work and hosting art salons and discussion panels.

In recent years Leena has been concentrating on her art and designs. For further information on artworks on this website please contact us.
